Had to miss the last 45 mins, returned to express love for Jamieson and Ajaz.

Gill scores fast though, will wreck us if he's able to stay in.

stays very leg side of the ball. Wonder what his record vs L arm pace is...
Not picture perfect but that technique is perfect for sub continent and even Aussie. Only when there lateral movement there could be issues but who's perfect anyways.

Whatever it takes!!!
Gill could work as a #4 or 5 anywhere tbh. Can see why they were keen on him batting 4 before Rahul injured himself.

On another note, @OverratedSanity was right about the fields to Pujara. He definitely needs to work on going aerial over the field a couple of times if he wants to get back to his bread and butter way of milking spinners. You cannot be so obstinate as a cricketer that you will refuse to play certain shots completely over your career.

Jamieson has a good chance to become Newzealand's greatest bowler after Sir Richard.
He has good attributes and he is in a purple patch now but a lot can go wrong. Players of that height hardly ever stay fit for too long, and who knows how injuries impact his bowling. He bowled well here but make no mistake, these are as good in terms of conditions as he will get in India. If he plays in March for example, it won't be the same.

The good thing about him for now is that he does not give up the hard length that he is blessed with, due to his height. So he will always be reasonably economical even if he never runs through a side in a hurry like a Southee or Boult can on a greentop. So he can maintain his average low enough to play a role and if he keeps nicking the odd batsman out, 2/50 sorta spells are more helpful in SC than people realize for a new ball bowler or a seamer.

Ajaz looking frustrated - that missed DRS may have messed with his head. Needs a reset and we could really do with dismissing Gill to slow the scoring rate.

Ajaz & Somerville’s lack of cricket leading up this is showing a bit. Hope they settle into a groove soon.

It's not turning as much as jazz is expecting. Getting a bit straight trying to bowl the magic ball. Probably needs to bowl more of off stump line and keep it tight.

That should ring some alarm bells. If Rachin is going to turn, Ashwin will.

Good first over for a part timer. Good lines and good revs on the ball. Doesn't look like much nerves
