I think with this pitch it is not the turn that will get batsmen but it's the up and down bounce. Going to be a short test match folks but I think our boys are going to fight tooth and nail like they did vs Pakistan in UAE. Hoping for a close contest.

After calling it 'weak' earlier in thread to pick 3 seamers and not play Sommerville, I've come around to it if they go 3 seamers plus Ajaz and Ravindra. Too many "it would be madness" scenarios and a lot of them are damn convincing. But I will be still annoyed if it is Santner rather than Ravindra. But I will miss the ball spinning into the gloves from the offie.

Yeah, could be actually. Can see trees from the pitch of the main stadium. No grandstand in that sector.

Me too. I'm always a bit of a nervous wreck when I watch us bat, whereas it's always fun watching Wagner & co go to work with the ball.
