Coming of age moment for neesh tonight....pure catharsis, i really believe if it was him on strike instead of gup, he would have smoked jofra into the stands again 2 years ago, didn't spare england this time

You better win this now New Zealand.

Or you can all get ****ed.

Gutted but Mitchell not taking that single was wonderful sportsmanship and never gonna be too mad getting beat by you guys.

We've often lacked for finishing in T20/ODI in recent years, the sole exception being Neesham who is always willing and able to swing from ball one. Match-changing innings that could not have been played by anyone else in NZ.

Mitchell's fitness in the heat and sweat also important - to turn around and cleanly strike those sixes at the end was immense. Though must be said Jordan/Woakes mediums far more to his liking than Wood's pace or the two spinners. A score of 72(47) - you wouldn't believe his innings was seen as struggling and too slow for large parts of it. WAG.

I did my bit. Turned on tv. England accelerated in batting. Turned it off. Looked up score card. England got Conway out. Made sure I kept the **** away, and look what NZ did! They really are able to do anything lately.

WAFG Mitchell. Elliott esque calmness at the end. Wasn’t a fan of him opening but so happy to be proved wrong.

Neesham -wow just wow.

Man, missed the finish to this. Well played New Zealand, clearly. Will be rooting for them come Sunday but gutted for now, all unravelled so quickly.

England have mostly had a great tournament but their death bowling has been their one clear weakness. Injuries not helped, obviously.
