England v New Zealand (SUPER OVER? BOUNDARY COUNTBACK?) at Abu Dhabi, 11-10 Wednesday (N), Semi-final #1

Yeah can understand the rationale, but surely you back a bowler of Santer's class and experience in this format?

NZ clearly looking at an above-par chase here.
I think Malan in particular they wanted to keep him away from. Mind you, they bowled a part timer in Phillips instead and that didn't work

Yup, Malan sort of made that irrelevant with all those offside boundaries.

Sort of expected England to get around 160 to begin with, think it would have been a bonus to keep them under that, so happy enough wit that score. Looks like a good pitch and signs of dew with Phillips slipping there. This should be an exciting chase! Why are the NZ posters here so emo today? lol

Bowling a keeper who lobs it into your hitting arc wasn't very bright and fielding was uncharacteristically sloppy along with bad luck.

Think we're desperate for a performance from NZ that allows us to sit back easy, and watch our boys win a KO round convincigly and comfortably. Really over the whole "get smacked or thriller" bs lol.
