Just like the Old Trafford 2019 semi, Jadeja looking the one player able to time the ball.

Great performance NZ despite some flawed catching. Still, runs on the board etc, so not considering it a done deal by any means.

india are carrying to many players with scars and demons from other bad experiences in tournaments, this might have beeen the issue

I feel like as an NZ fan there have been a disproportionate number of times where I’ve watched us inexplicably dominate India with the ball

Interested to see how Guppy goes here, it’s not his sort of pitch (and opposition, generally hasn’t fired against India compared to the other top teams).

Barring some unlikely turn of events, it looks like India is out of the tournament. Truly pathetic. In recent years India has struggled at the business end of ICC tournaments but at least gotten there. Here they have barely competed in their two crucial early games so far.

Would kind of like to see Mitchell just bat sensibly since we’re 1 down and the batting’s a bit light tonight, but seems like he’s been told to swing hard
