I'm feeling like how you felt after Gabba earlier this year.
Serious question: do people genuinely think that Test was received here as some sort of devastating blow or something? The overwhelming response I saw here was "holy **** what a game/series"

I'm not downplaying their win - it was a pizzling. Top effort. Just saying I wouldn't out a T20 group stage result on the same level as a four test series outcome. Each to their own though.

The T20 world cup group game is a far bigger moment than a bilateral series that happens quite regularly.

It's also India vs Pakistan - the biggest game in cricket .. the Australian test series is niche in comparison.

Nah, nothing comes close to Gabba win for me. It was a freak of a series which won't happen again like Kolkata 2001. You don't chase down targets all the time against that kind of bowling.

It was crippling.

Australia hasn't played a test match since because they're ashamed to wear their whites again and Nathan Lyon has been stuck on 399 wickets for nearly a year.

It will take a few years at minimum to recover from this.
