I'm so bored withthe media love-in on Steve ****ing Bruce, watching Football Focus, and they're saying, the players have got them to be second bottom, whilst they need stability with Bruce, who has clearly had nothing to do with the position they're in.

The bloke will get a 6 million pay-off, and easily find a job, doubt in the Prem though, because he's a Championship manager, a quite decent one.

I didn't watch FF today, but that's a very strange line of argument from whoever said it. Presumably they also think that Guardiola, Klopp and Tuchel are waste of their clubs' money as as their success has all be down to the players too. I bet their chairmen wish someone had explained that years ago so they could have saved a few million on these guys' salaries and appointed the groundsman instead. Does Bruce maybe get a free ride because he's one of the few English managers in the Prem? Maybe that's a factor, even if it's a subconscious one.

I other news, my occasional look at The League 2 table sees Sutton in 11th place, with a game in hand over the teams immediately above them. Good effort so far by my local team, and rather better than expected tbh.

2 and 4 are either or because I would have to properly measure it to get a correct answer. 1's quite close as well but I'm pretty sure the hospital I was born in is closer to Easter Road than Tynecastle.
Late on this, but:

1) Cambridge United
2) Hull City
3) Montepellier
4) Cambridge United

Lower league hack gets unexpected Bosman move to south west France before returning to his first club with his tail between his legs when obvious inadequacy exposed.

:)

Montpellier is an interesting detour. Languages degree? I only ask because our friends' son is there in the first half of his placement year.

No, confirmed monoglot here. Read Philosophy and Sociology at Hull.

Last trip that could even vaguely justify being called a holiday was taken in/over Xmas 2019 to the (de facto) in-laws, who've retired to an almost comically gorgeous little village in the foothills of the Pyrenees.

So all you need when you are crap and going down is your striker to be taken off with heart palpitations, hope Ryan Bowman is ok.

Your last holiday was to south east London then?
Well London in general, but SE London was the location of the last hotel in London I stayed in.

Could also add Basel, Barcelona, Ajax + Arsenal in #3 as well.

Hope he never plays again personally.

Would be karma for smashing Cardoso's face in in a League Cup semi and showing no remorse.

Utterly classless mate, bloke goes off with heart problems, you really shouldn't be using this time to slag him off.

anyway, yeah hope Ryan well, health is much more important than these trivial matters.

David Brooks of Bournemouth aged just 24 is a reminder (if any were needed) of how quickly life can change. He's been diagnosed with Stage 2 Hodgkin lymphoma. Two weeks ago he was still playing in the first team having played for Wales in Euros. Full recovery and survival rates are good so hopefully he'll be okay. Wish him well.

Brazil starting a bunch of EPLers on a Friday night match with club fixtures on the Saturday has got to be more than a bit passive aggressive.

This Utd team is so poorly coached its unreal. Obviously Chelsea, City and Pool probably get the top 3 spots, but not sure with Ole in charge they actually get the 4th slot.
