On a serious note have I ever said anything of this sentiment before? Fairly certain burgey is the only one who says it over and over? Please do correct me if i'm wrong, not 100%.

Fair comment, but you were hardly being original repeating Burgey's well worn nonsense. Granted, you reduced the cell size. :happy:

Really they are the crims. British criminals were sent to Australia. Now, after years of exposure to sunlight, a good diet, and dental hygiene, our DNA has changed to such an extent that we no longer bear any genetic similarities to the Poms that arrived on the First Fleet. We are strapping individuals who only barely manage to avoid spending each day in hours long orgies with other majestical physical specimens courtesy of the fact that someone has to go off and occasionally do some ****ing work. They, on the other hand, are still practically genetically, physically and dentally identical to the sickly individuals that half-walked, half-fell off the boat when they arrived in Botany Bay in the late 1700s.

It's a little known fact that while smallpox claimed a decent chunk of the Indigenous Australians after the arrival of the First Fleet, the sight of these pasty white, weak, uncoordinated individuals stumbling off a ship had already caused dozens more to succumb due to laughter.

Really think he combines an attitude of pragmatism with the concentration of a peak Sachin. He figures out a way to survive as many balls as he can, finding the least risky way to score runs off any given ball and ensure he does not get out even if he looks like a Courtney Walsh on drugs out there at the crease.

And the result, is the best record since Bradman. Amazing. :notworthy:
