Doncaster isn’t generally a holiday destination but in 2019 a friend of mine wanted to visit The Britain Railway Museum, York Race Course, York Minster Cathedral and the Yorkshire Wildlife Park for her 39th birthday. York would have been the more obvious place to stay, but if a woman twenty years my junior wants to stay in Doncaster, we stay in Doncaster.

Had a wee look on Google Maps out of curiosity and it looks like if you pretty much walk due north from the campus you hit Anfield first, with Goodison being on the other side of Stanley Park further north.

Being honest, I don't know whether Croyde is closer to Exeter or Plymouth, and naturally I cba to look it up. Actually, as the crow flies, it may be closer to Swansea, but life really is too short to try and work that one out.
