Is Gaikwad an India prospect at all?

I first saw him the other night and he's very pleasant to watch. Looks a very solid player. Wasn't running away from Milne and Boult like the other spuds. That was a nice shot there too.

Charvarthi's floaters go through at close to 100 kph. Not sure if it's optical illusion or an issue with the speed gun.

Gaekwad looks a proper batsman. Better than most of the slapdash variety at the tournament.

Ruturaj has, sort of, blindsided Indian fans. But for IPL, his attractive numbers in domestic cricket were absolutely primed to be glossed over.

Ferguson looks a waste of space. Clearly the benevolent hand of mccullum at play he's playing ahead of a few on the bench who'd provide better value - Shakib as overseas player. Or Mavi and Warrier as quicks who are as good to accommodate another overseas worthy if they have any on bench.

Ferguson's pace has been hard to handle since the resumption. Been off color today but even so hasn't been overly expensive.

Only a matter of time before Chakravarthi becomes the frontline white ball spin option for India. Crazy speed at which he's progressed.
