getting to 100 with 6s was a record. Why is this not one? It is literally listed on the cricinfo records page.
@honestbharani I have the same doubt as L&L. In the cricinfo link that you sent, there are many others who have done the same as him before him as well. So how is it a record for him?

And to clarify your query, you can post any test record and there is no restriction for it. But the person should really hold it over all others at that point. So if you can clarify how KP holds this record over the others who have done it, then it will be fine. Pls clarify.

I guess the record probably sounds worse than it is - he does have (joint) fewest runs conceded having taken a wicket in an innings - which makes it more of an 'overall record' than the equivalent of top-scoring in a test match.

jointly-held records shouldn't count, it makes the draft way way too easy
I agree. Pietersen is just one of over 40 players listed in cricinfo who have taken a Test wicket in an innings without conceding a run. I would concede it if it was the first or if he (Pietersen) had achieved it more times than than anyone else.

@CricAddict I think you need to make a ruling as well as providing us with a Round 9 order as it is almost 18 hours since Round 8 was completed.

I concur with this. HB, We did not have this guideline before but I think it is better if we have it since a joint record with 40 people doesn't go with the theme of this draft. Can you please not mistake us and re-pick a valid record for Pietersen or a different player?

Going forward as well, let us not have any joint record for any player. The player should own the record by himself at that point of time.
