Why's Warne so sceptical about the draw? Some pitches don't deteriorate like they used to. There's little to suggest this isn't one of them.
Weathwr aside, I don’t know if both of these sides can bat long enough for a draw from here, regardless of the pitch. Unless there’s rain forecast I think there’ll be a winner.

The new ball is 10 overs old and Root brings himself on because of the light? Now he may prove me wrong and rip trough the last 8 wickets, but surely this is a complete waste of the new ball and yet another wtf bowling decision. Just ridiculously half-witted captaincy, yet again.

Whatever it takes!!!
Unless it is an issue from only one end, surely they are better off going off now? They can attack these two who are still starting their innings tomm with the new ball maybe with cloud cover etc ?

I don’t know how over rates work but would that decision have any impact on England being penalised for slow over rates?

That would have been the more intelligent decision.

Yeah wasted a couple of overs and gave away 7 runs or whatever but fine. We are basically 171/3... Need a big effort again tomorrow coz the pitch is flat as a pancake and even all the clouds that Jimmy could summon today did not seem to help much in this pitch. And we bowled worse than England this test so far.

Anything 200+ would be a challenge to chase in 4th innings regardless of conditions which India should get comfortably.

Barring weather, India pretty much has this in the bag.

Good afternoon! I want to buy headphones. I paid attention to these: KZ SK10 I listen to blues and jazz.
A normal choice or what would you recommend at this price?
Thank you for the answer
I would recommend you grab a fistful of pennies, and then, completely independent of any potential purchase, violate yourself with your closed fist.

Enjoy yourself. Kudos if you can manage it tbh

Mo opening up his own pie shop, apparently.

Utter filth from our nominal #1 offie.
Currently averaging 61 runs per wicket in the series. You and I are old enough to remember when 'Moeen is a perfectly acceptable spinner' was the popular line in these parts.

i have a pair of noise cancelling Kabra ear buds and have found them very god. They’re also water resistant which is a nice feature in summer if you want to swim and listen to t00ns as well.

The Oval usually still does become bad for batting last. Fielding first looks like a terrible call.

Wickets have been lost at the start of play often this series. Have to work very hard tomorrow morning session to keep the game in the balance. Rahul becoming a bit of an unsung hero this series but he kept the scoreboard ticking early on when Rohit was doing his best Pujara impression. Pujara doing his own Rohit impression for his first 40 runs was awesome too. Then went into his shell for whatever reason and cost him his wicket.

Hero of the day obviously Rohit. I am one of the few who saw him being successful this entire overseas cycle even from back in late 2019 and definitely after mid 2020. Guy has the tools to succeed here but the great thing is how much he has adjusted his own game to help with that, something he didn't have to do being an ODI ATG already. But guy put in the time to get better at playing swing, utilized his natural set up to his advantage, worked out a game plan, even changed it after it cost him a bit in the WTC final. Extremely impressive for a guy often considered lazy. I mean I say the same thing and will probably say again next time he fails but that is the fickle Indian fan in me, when I am in the more reasonable mood, I can see he has worked harder than ever to transform himself into a certain type of batsman that he did not need to be, not going for the "that is how he plays" nonsense. Well , except the compulsive hooking BS. But soz. Hail Hitman!!!! ?
