***Official*** 4th Test @ The Oval, London - 2nd-6th September

Jack1

International Debutant
I wonder where Jadeja bats in domestic by his very strong fc average (46.42 before this game) and 10 fc hundreds.

Why have people suddenly become so diffident on Jadeja? He is a very good player guys. Give him more leeway than a couple of bad tests for what he has done in the past 2-3 years.
It's not a comment on Jadeja's abilities, it's borne out of frustration over the Rahane situation.

Jadeja against the new ball oh boy.
It’ll be good to see a bit more of him here, but from what I’ve seen he hasn’t looked too ill-equipped to batting in England so far. Doesn’t really fiddle in the way that his player type usually does. Left handers that don’t fiddle and don’t miss straight ones can be hard work to get out.

Nah, I'd say it's 60/40 in India's favour if Virat declared now.

100 more it's 80/20, 150 more and you can name your own price for England.
nah i expect root to go big given the pitch is still great to bat on and pope to have a good partnership with him. woakes should do well too and malan is in decent form too.

all that'd change if conditions remain overcast tomorrow but if its sunny and the ball doesn't turn much, anything less than 300 would keep england in the game

woul agree that it is 60/40 right now if this was day 4

International Regular
Why's Warne so sceptical about the draw? Some pitches don't deteriorate like they used to. There's little to suggest this isn't one of them.

Virat looking in ominously good touch here.

Jimmeh overpitched slightly, but that was beautifully dispatched. Just caressed it through the covers.
