No I mean club cricketers/cricket enthusiasts buying bats. Anyone who wastes something as beautiful as having a new bat on a New Balance bat is an enemy of cricket (and imagination).

I know it's not saying anything new here, but I remain amazed by just how much more time Joe Root seems to have to play his shots than anyone else. It's like he exists in his own cocoon of time and space at the moment.

He's making a fair point. Root is batting about as well as humanly possible at the moment but indias fields have allowed him to get away to good starts and they've barely changed anything since the start of the series.
