Whatever it takes!!!
I just dont think this side has it in them to stay focussed. I won't even say its hubris coz they have not even achieved that much yet. Just a tendency to take it easy and it has always bit us in the ass, and yet we keep doing it.

If you wanna play 4 fast bowlers, bowl first. If you wanna bat first, pick the damn best spinner in the world. This captaincy is basically the equivalent of the lame poke our batsmen have been specializing in, this series, esp. 3-5. A defensive stroke that has 75% risk of getting you out and 0% chance of getting you any actual runs.

The first hour can always happen and the middle order has to dig in. It was the fourth wicket on the stroke of lunch that was the killer with such a weak batting line up.
And that is a fault of the selection too. They drop players when they are good and back them when they are shite, for some reason.

I suppose the good news is that after the ass kicking that this game will be, they will be lot more focused and better in the next two. Very real chance that England let the hubris get to them too, maybe even in this very test.

Not happening. Now to see a Burns 100 and the dawning of the Haseeb Hameed era.

This is 3-1, with three massive defeats like 2014. It is impressive that the ATG SHITNESS of the batting counteracts the decent bowling line-up.
