sure it does, stranger things have happened (in fact just earlier today with the shami-bumrah partnership)...anyway my argument was based on root shepherding them home with support from the others...

Scoring at ~a run a ball for a full session in fading light in a Test match when your top order has collapsed is way way way way way stranger than a fighting tail-end partnership.
