@Line and Length, that's correct. The year of their test debut designates their decade.

If a player played for 2 countries, they are to be picked by whichever one they played for first, as to not confuse things things regarding decade of debut.

and lastly, @trundler, AndrewB's explanation is correct, that's what I had in mind. otherwise it'd be too restrictive
