Whatever it takes!!!
Think it was more of Pant not being firm enough with the no, personally. Anyways, the first review was completely Pant's fault. A keeper has to be better and more in charge about all this.he's blamed Pant too

mate it's Kohli making the signal at the end of the day. Blame falls on him.Think it was more of Pant not being firm enough with the no, personally. Anyways, the first review was completely Pant's fault. A keeper has to be better and more in charge about all this.
Seemed to be blaming him before he even decided to go for the review tbh. Body language and facial expressions unecessarily aggressive. Probably quite intimidating for a junior player.Looks like he regretted that review as soon as he took it, and he's blamed Pant too
Amateur hour here.
Dunno, thought there was a bit of humour about his expression at the start. It's fairly normal in Desi culture for a person with seniority to chastise someone junior like that without any offence meant, or taken.Seemed to be blaming him before he even decided to go for the review tbh. So should credit when great reviews are taken. Like Bairstow LBW in first innings of first test.mate it's Kohli making the signal at the end of the day. Blame falls on him.

He was very clearly mouthing "Ab bata rahe ho yaar". Think Pant was not clear enough in saying no first, and then Virat made the signal and he was shouting No as he was doing that. Which is what Virat was pointing out. Its ok to get them wrong or right but need to be decisive.Dunno, thought there was a bit of humour about his expression at the start. Or he might have called him a **** over and over, who knows.
Batted out of position is the main problem. Don't like to make excuses for anyone at the level, but England just heaped pressure on Hameed batting him at 3 - he only had a 33.72 FC average coming into the game - all his recent form and runs have been opening. Then you also have Ballance who averages 46.44 at 3 in 16 tests with a 47.05 FC average that they refuse to give a second run in the team to. If they weren't going to open Hameed then all things considered he shouldn't be in the team, or squad, over Ballance. England (and Wales) do funny things sometimes.Hameed's wicket just looked like someone caught in the headlights. Bloke no doubt extremely nervous. Always think there's probably nothing much worse than coming back into a side after an absence of a few years, with a pretty mediocre average/record, called up as a direct replacement for someone who has been dropped after a few failures, facing a great bowling attack in non-ideal batting conditions. Pressure pretty huge.
Sibley's wicket just garbage though. Horrible.
Looked pretty good there too, but had more of a holding job in Aus. Legitimate attacking option here though. Also Siraj looks so much better on this dying-but-still-seaming than he did on the dead-as-a-****ing-dodo pitches in Australia.
Always liked ballance tbh. Thought he was better than most of this current lineup.Batted out of position is the main problem. Yeah looked as good as could be reasonably expected of a debutant pacemen who relies on seam on those pitches.Looked pretty good there too, but had more of a holding job in Aus. Legitimate attacking option here though.
Then again I thought he was better than Root lol #neverforgetAlways liked ballance tbh. Thought he was better than most of this current lineup.
