I think this stat likely works against teams like England because they're athletic enough to reach the ball, but not elite enough to actually catch it. Our players wouldn't even reach some of those chances.

I'm not sure that works for slip catches.

I remember the NZ and England figures being quoted earlier in the season and not being remotely surprised at the time. To be fair to Silverwood, I'm not sure what he can do with this by the time the players reach him. Silk purses and pigs' ears, as they say.

i think it is time to bat jaddu above pant. if pant is going to score that quickly, the position swap wouldn't make much of a difference

Weather looks fine until mid-afternoon, and on & off thereafter. One is tempted to suggest that's enough time for India.
