think anderson and siraj had one of those too after the tailender got lucky with a shot
No surprise Anderson would look to have a dig at the rookie instead of any other opposition player. Absolutely standard for him

OK. I'm following this on cricinfo, so I'm relying on other people here. Did the commentators mention either incident at all?
Nope, just an offhand "Anderson can be grumpy" type comment. Was a legitimate shove, not too different from Rabada v Smith minus the screaming.

Whatever it takes!!!
Its stuff like that which gets me thinking there is no way Anderson can be all that nice a person. Just comes across as such a dickhead.

They say judge a pitch after both sides have batted on it. I think the pitch is definitely somewhat dry underneath and honestly think Ashwin would have gone very well here. That said, it also looks like one of those games in England where the overhead conditions dictate how difficult the pitch is to bat on. Both teams have collapsed under cloudy conditions and prospered under bright skies. England gave away 4 of the top 6 in bright sunshine though and that might be what comes to bite them in the rear as far as this game goes.

Did he set up an anonymous twitter account to be a **** to KP?

I’m pretty sure it’s getting flatter. It might just get better and better for batting as the game goes on. I feel like English pitches come together in the 4th innings as often as they break up these days.

Bumrah's action seems kind of sus in that angle. Is that just hyperextension?
Side-on? He and RP Singh are the most legit cases of hyperextension among seamers I've seen. High arm release from 12'o clock, don't think it's physically possible to throw at pace from that position. There's a wonderful video around of Holding dissecting RP and Akhtar together from a front-on angle, really clears up the matter.

Norwood's on Fire
Not seen a ball yet for various reasons. Tomorrow no good for me either though for good reasons at least. Shaping up nicely. Weather forecast not great for Sunday but if they do play it should be a cracking weekend of cricket
