Ye kya bakchodi hai. The whole thing started with the arbitrary critetria of 500 runs. Sachin stamped his authority on every series he played in by being sachin.
Tendlya living rent-free in kangaroo heads, gotta make every thread about him
You mean he was just like Steve Smith in recently concluded BG Trophy + ODI + T20 ( Averaged 10 outside SCG in 9 innings iirc )?
If he could score runs outside Sydney I might believe you.
Tendulkar had 6 or 7 tours to Australia. His results outside Sydney would make him struggle to get a gig in the current Australian side he was that bad here. You mean he was just like Steve Smith in recently concluded BG Trophy + ODI + T20 ( Averaged 10 outside SCG in 9 innings iirc )?
Its because its every single one.but i cbf to figure out which one.
Tendulkar has 5 century in SA alone which is more than total number of centuries of Smith in Asia ?Tendulkar had 6 or 7 tours to Australia. His results outside Sydney would make him struggle to get a gig in the current Australian side he was that bad here.
Smith scored 3 centuries in one series in India, which is more than Sachin managed anywhere.
hehe these shitshows are somehow less painful when everyone else brings themselves down to sunilz's level

Well, that's kinda wrong given Tendulkar does have three centuries outside Sydney.Smith scored 3 centuries in one series in India, which is more than Sachin managed anywhere.
Not in a single series.Well, that's kinda wrong given Tendulkar does have three centuries outside Sydney.
So , benchmark is single series. Not in a single series.
They try, at least. It's not possible to really get there though.when everyone else brings themselves down to sunilz's level
Ooooh. Surprised to see McGrath getting him cheaply. Again.
Yea lol pretty much. How did this thread get derailed so quickly? Ugh.Everyone: did Sachin ever dominate a series? Nah.
Sunilz: Sachin averaged over 45 in Asia and therefore dominated.
Literally everyone else: Sachin has never dominated a series.
Sunilz: but Kohli has scored lots of hundreds outside Asia.

This difference between the two of them pretty much makes the comparisons so interesting and subjective. We were very lucky to have them both.Just don't rely on him to really hammer on once he's hit a 100+. His 150+ and certainly 200+ scores are relatively low - conversely it also means (as per above) he was a ridiculously consistent scorer pretty much the entire time (obvious slumps excluded) - whereas Lara had a lot of 200+ scores but also had very, very poor lows.
