Last 50km or so of the road race was great viewing

We had a thread a while back bout which sport is the hardest and I don't remember anyone mentioning road cycling. The scale of it just boggles the mind. 200+ km of cycling up and down mount fuji at an average of nearly 40kph. Guaranteed to kill the layman.

This is my pet theory why the Dutch are good at hockey and soccer. Hockey is basically Total Football with sticks.

i'm planning on going if i can december next year to celebrate graduating but the vaccine situation here and the covid situation there make it quite sketchy to get plans in as yet tbh

They really do, it sucks, India would have a few more in our measly Olympic haul if they weren't randomly so good at this.
