The commentators are talking about foot work out Bracey which is fair. There are many keepers with lesser footwork pooch those. Doubt if he's watching the ball all the way to the gloves. Not scoring any runs must have messed up his pre ball routine. He's reaching at even a regulation take off stone and wood rather than let it come to him.

Doull deciding now’s probably not the best time to mention Blundell held the opening gig for year.

One of the things Blundell has done very well for NZ in his test batting career so far is have a very clear mind and clear plan. So yes, looking frazzled like he currently does is unusual.

Don’t want to be critical of Ross after playing that gutsy and vital knock, but wish he’d taken his time against Stone/Wood after winning round two of the battle against Broaderson. Still, he looked very good today so hopefully means that his game is back in place for rest of the tour.

Yeah, I didn't see him struggle yesterday (just saw the highlights) but he did look a bit like vintage Taylor this morning.

Blundell looking good after that nervy start - I feel he would be a better bet than Watling for the final but I guess that won't happen.

Nicholls will get plenty of perfume balls from India. He's quite suspect against short stuff. Mostly off balance whether hitting the ball or ducking under it.

I would describe his weakness more as being against 140+ pace that is on a legstump (surprisingly) line. It's a function of his grip and shovelly setup.
