An extremely rarely spotted Uppercut Rant. Save it for your grandkids folks. What’s all this **** about using a test match series as preparation for some ****ing trinket. I’ll be deep in the cold ground before I recognise the ‘WTC’, whatever that is.

'Done the poverty, done the elephants' is one of the great quotes, isn't it. How come that's cropped up today? That tour to India in 93 will be fun to follow. I hope they got the Tuffers "Elephants and orphans" comment on camera.

Sky are currently running a documentary series on the tour. It used to be called Brown Wash, but in these PC times it's called Spin Wash.'Done the poverty, done the elephants' is one of the great quotes, isn't it. How come that's cropped up today?
Is that last bit actually true? The whole thing should be X-rated anyway. Absolute shocker of a tour.Sky are currently running a documentary series on the tour. It used to be called Brown Wash, but in these PC times it's called Spin Wash.
It's a half truth. The Brown Wash term was actually coined by Indian fans on the 86 tour of England after they won the first two Tests after the West Indies had consecutively white washed England and the West Indies fans called it a black wash.Is that last bit actually true?
