In all fairness he's always an attractive looking bat, it's just the output that's not always there.

I think he's always been good. Good timer of the ball and fairly well organized. One of the less complicated batter from England of late. He's good on the eyes.

I do get the feeling with Pope that he's one of those players that if you bowl enough good balls at you'll get him out. String a few maidens together, don't give him any freebies and his defence won't really hold up.

Yeah Jamieson has been really threatening but just gave a couple on the pads in the last over. Looked like he could get a wicket every ball in those first three overs.

Yeah this is what I took out of it, and he absolutely should play the second test. Terrible idea to go into the WTC final without a test under his belt since about March, and he's had series in the past where he's been poor after not having played for a while.
