The weather is lovely in the South West also. It appears to be only the South East that has rain. It probably be in the Midlands next weekend and Southampton the week after.

I had a Coke Float in Manila which is in the same ballpark.

It wasn't good
Mate of mine occasionally has what he calls a "Trojan Horse" but he invariably has to describe it to bar staff if he asks for one (or did when ordering at bars was a thing), so I suspect that's just him, however it's half a pint of Guinness and half a pint of Coke and wholly nasty. Sweet as feck.

*memories of being in a british city in winter, when it feels the country has possibly the coldest housing stock south of Murmansk*
I guess all things are relative. Always found English houses retain the heat pretty well, but I haven’t been to any of the really cold climates where I imagine they take it to another level

Our houses are freezing in winter. They aren’t really designed to retain heat, for the most part

a) the time i spent was in one of those townhouses which is built for....landlords probably? who on earth needs five metres of air above your head to heat before the floor gets warm.

and b) who needs to build houses for the few days when it dips below 10 degrees when your main problems are Deadly Fauna and summer being 35+ degrees for half the year

Yet again questioning why England are allowed to host cricket matches

'5 days of sun', 'heatwave' Yeah right.

Not actually serious, just frustrated as I think there's a good chance we get a draw now and it could have been an interesting match.
