Definitely returned to his roots early on in the final.
We just had just about the most comfortable win you can imagine in these games and I still felt sick until about the 95th minute.

Haha reminds me of the final day of the 2010/11 season. As long as we matched Celtic's result we were champions, we went 3-0 up inside 8 minutes, and as the 2nd half was kicking off I remember thinking 'we could really do with a 4th just to make sure.'

I remember us being League 2 promotion rivals, we both went up, been a different trajectory since then, has to be said, ho-hum.
Edit: unusal post me saying League 2, not Division 4, but feel people might have though it was many years ago, if I did my normal tired spiel. 2008/9 though, suppose it was awhile ago, doesn't seem it.

I vaguely remember a Pothas post from many years ago about how Brentford had the potential to go up from League One that season and now look at them.
Felt like this year had to be the year, not sure if that team would've stayed together after another close tilt at the big time and the promotion window might've closed on Brentford.

I dunno, I feel like Brentford have got to the point where their recruitment and behind the scenes work would have meant they'd always be at the top end of the Championship.
