Derek Adams is a very poor mans Pulis/Allardyce at their worst. He gets results but the football is awful, especially away from home. There's no denying the achievement in taking Eric's boys from the bottom to the top end of League 2, but unless you're a fan of that club it's terrible to watch.

Speaking objectively, any of the teams in the play offs other than us will be an eyesore in L1

Have any of the playoffs so far been won by the better team? Every match report I read is like "fluky Swansea scrape past dominant Barnsley".

If it’s his decision then okay. If it’s Wolves thinking they can do better they’re probably a bit deluded. They’ve rarely been secure in the Premier League.

I think they've not had the best year but after back to back 7th placed finishes I thought Nuno had earned himself a chance to go again next season - they've had a couple big losses, Boly been out at times, Neto for these final few games, their star player out for a large chunk of the season and not the best preparation with a disrupted European campaign last season and a squad that lacks depth in some areas.

It Will be intriguing how they go in the transfer market this summer, do they go in for an established old striker perhaps as a backup for Jimenez and look to play Fabio Silva off the wing a bit more in the short-term, and do they buy good depth players.

Very odd story at Sunderland regarding Aiden McGeady. He had a clause in his contract stating that if he plays 30 games this season he gets a 12 month extension to his contract. He's up to 29 and the club were unsure if they can afford to keep him if they don't get promoted. So he had to sign a waiver removing that clause to enable him to play today and in the final if they get there.
