Secondly, how do you get decent coaches?

1) Same team. You can even schedule friendlies at the same time.
2) The transfer market has a few - otherwise, convert your 30+ year old players, they will decline pretty rapidly in skills anyway. You can also send them on coaching courses but it's a slower process

Thanks. I’ve converted a few of the older players. But they don’t feel decent! Lacking a batting coach. I suppose I need to be patient.

good news from today's match: my No. 9 Clarke, most noted for his reverse swing at 140+, scored an unbeaten 48

So ZCC have lost their last two league OD games by 6 runs and 8 runs.

FFS. Thankfully we get that 1 bonus point from each game, which means we're just narrowly staving off relegation. Very narrowly. Hope our luck turns in the next few games, a string of wins from here on in would be brilliant.

FHK in a Div 2 relegation battle of their own. Big game tonight. We're in 7th win 2 wins, they're in 5th with 3. A win here would be massive.

everyone needs batsmen, it's generally acknowledged there's a shortage of them in the game

Not bad. Have made him my captain as my oldest young player.


Haven't played him yet, but thought this was pretty good for a first recruit.

The Merry Orangutans have started really well against us. They’re close to a 100 and have lost only one wicket. Their run rate is near 5 an over.

However they have struggled to just 126/7 vs Schmaltzberg. Could be an upset on the cards.

Meanwhile Winton CC bowled out for just 83, and ZCC already 27/0 in the chase.

We've actually got 6 CW games at the same time now, which is pretty good. Ashgrove got 153-6 in their 20 overs, they look likely for a win in my game.

ZCC continue their unbeaten CWC run, steamrolling Winton CC by 10 wickets. Will anyone stop them?

Morpork pick up an easy win over the Hunks. Two good results for Magz, puts her back in the running for a spot in the Final

And @morgieb's Wombats pick up their 2nd win, a narrow one over Picasso Moon!
