I didn't compare him with anyone lad or use words like goat. I was talking about his skillset champ and if it can take him further, something a lot of keepers today are one dimensional in.

Secondly if you want to support threads like these, go ahead
Calling Magrat "lad" is one of the gravest mistakes one can commit. Ymaxxx mate, you need to understand the forum a little bit better.

Aus takes such threads like a personal assault on their fragile manhood, doubling the comic value.

But frankly, this is an entirely reasonable thread. Here are the incontrovertible facts.

Lily played 70 tests with a bowling average of 24 and a SR of 52. Ishant 2.0 has already played 48 tests since 2014. His bowling average being 26 and SR 53.

Poor, tender Lily was too fragile to suffer the rigor of subcontinent and Caribbeans. Ishant has manfully plied his trade *everywhere*.

Even stevens.

Nice try. Come back when Ishant inspires the next Hadlee.

Neither would hold a candle to Sourav Ganguly, if he had hypothetically knuckled down on making his medium pace unplayable.
