Nepal absolutely hammered Netherlands in that final. Did not expect such a lopsided result.

JJ Smit is legit, should be getting more franchise T20 gigs.

Namibia Eagles beat SA Emerging 2-1 in the T20s. Good result, even though I can't recognize a single name in the SA Emerging squad (tho tbf that probably says more about me than the quality of the side).

The SA Emerging side looks pretty decent. Some of those players are first choice selections for sides in domestic cricket while others have definitely got potential. They're all still some way off being selected for South Africa though, apart from Qeshile who has played two T20s but didn't bat in either of them, so maybe being beaten by Namibia isn't really an upset.

Namibia are only going from strength to strength, for all the discussion about the quality of the South Africa emerging squad it is worth noting Namibia haven't been at 100% either batting wise through rotation
