Haaland is the guy. The club has already been talking to Alf. Mbappe already turned the club down twice and Qatar would never sell to Abu Dhabi.

Ings story may be press bollocks, think City are more likely to look at Haaland and then possibly Lukaku as back up this summer.
Mbappe probably stays unless Real somehow find a few hundred million behind the sofa.

Finding Jack Charlton was quite hard to watch, the moment when he recognised Paul McGrath was really sad but touching at the same time. You could see the love Jack had for him but moments before he was just staring not taking it in. Feel so sorry for anyone affected by dementia and all the suffering it causes loved ones.

This was very sad. After seeing him as an old man with sadly vacant eyes and impaired memory I went back and watched his interview with Garth Crooks from 1999 to see him at his best.

Henry top for mine. Aguero battling with Shearer for 2nd. Suarez was as good I think but doesn't have the longevity in the league. Kane could join that group depending on how his career goes from here.

I'd agree with this except that Kane's surely already done enough to be up there with Shearer and Aguero. His best seasons were probably even better than Aguero's best seasons and he's not too far off Aguero's number of goals.
Kane and Shearer look like having similar careers where they're ATG level for a couple of seasons, then injuries kept them to being "just" very good strikers for a long time after that. Van Persie kinda had the reverse career trajectory. He'd not be too far below.

I sometimes forget how good Shearer was. I don't know if it's because he retired from England fairly young and played for Newcastle long after they were a force. And also because he's such a bland pundit. But man he was good.
If Robbie Fowler hadn't got injured in 98 he'd most likely be part of the conversation, though being around at the same time as Shearer didn't help him even when he was at his peak.

Maybe but getting injured at 24/25 then never getting back to pre-injury level is almost the norm for the best PL strikers. Shearer, Owen, Fowler, Torres, Kane. Shearer and Kane stand out for having still contributed a lot after their peaks, whereas the others quite quickly became very mediocre.
