Feel that Rashid has plateaued a bit in recent times. Still has the variations but looks a bit mentally fragile out there. Maybe he needs to refresh a bit as he is constantly involved in the white ball stuff

This is going to be a bloodbath. Still probably won't be a score beyond our reach if our middle order can get their bottle back.

Bowling stokes for an over when you have 9 overs between s Curran and topley for death was questionable, giving him a second over after going for 15 in his first was and is ridiculous.

Pant highlights India archaic top order batting approach. No enterprise, no ticker, just sleepwalking in their comfort zone.

Also, Wood, Archer and Topley would make a quality attack with Rashid. These currans look strictly fillers.

Also wont have the batting depth that England love so dearly.

Surely this is the weakest one day bowling attack England have ever had.How on earth do the Curran’s warrant a place.I know we are missing Woakes Wood and Archer but some of the lengths are mind blowing and unfortunately Butler just lets it happen.unless we chase we will not win games as our bowling is so poor and without any direction.I fear for us as the selectors don’t have a clue. When did Ali last take a wicket or go for less than5 an over

Think Liam Dawson would be a good fit for this England side. Can bowl upfront and in the middle and generally keeps it really tight in county cricket. Versatile batsman who would fit it in at 7/8
