I don’t know if he’s the first, or only, or whatever but Mark Craig hit his first ball faced in Test cricket for sixChris Gayle is the only batsman to hit a six off the first ball of a Test match

excellentDavid Lloyd (aka Bumble) scored just 1 Test 50+. It was the highest (214*) amongst those who only scored 1 Test 50.
He also scored just 1 ODI 50+ and it too was the highest (116*)amongst those who only scored 1 ODI 50.

I've always marvelled at that - not many sports where you can actively put on weight when you're in the act of playing it. There might be others but I'm certain none have the ability to do so like cricket does.Surely it's the only sport in the world where the active participants can spend the first couple of days of the event doing nothing but sitting on a balcony eating sandwiches.
Needs his own thread. 5 pound bat, wackedy doo, the Viking coming out of the forest etc. I've seen him do unspeakable things to cricket balls, and some of those were on the field.Luke Vivian.
This is the best kind of utterly useless info. Shot.David Lloyd (aka Bumble) scored just 1 Test 50+. It was the highest (214*) amongst those who only scored 1 Test 50.
