Yeah probably for the best that South Africa goes to someone with the time and more importantly the motivation to run it properly.

But I must disagree with one statement, I am not really actively online that much. Maybe having CW up in the background has lead to people getting that impression

BREAKING NEWS: Test cricket welcomes its 11th nation; WTC set to undergo restructure

In something of a shock twist, 2003 World Cup semi-finalists Kenya, have been promoted to Test match status following an emergency ICC meeting in Dubai.

"Just let them in already ffs" remarked ICC Chief Executive Officer, jimmy101. "If we don't act now, who knows what kind of state Kenyan cricket will be in, say, sixteen years time..."

This announcement will mean the upcoming World Test Championship is set to expand to twelve teams, with the top six teams from the group stage now able to qualify for the finals series. However, with Test cricket's most recent member up until this point, Bangladesh, still finding its feet on the big stage, many have questioned whether the decision to elevate Kenya was the right one, with some observers even claiming the decision was made to eliminate the need for a bye in the upcoming WTC, more than anything else. Only time will tell if Kenya can prove they belong at the top level.

In short, everyone gets another home game.

A note on "form":

As indicated in the OP, form will be a feature of the new tournament. Starting from round 2 onwards I will be posting what's known as the "form guide" which will display each player's current form in numerical value. A higher numerical rating represents better form.

That should be interesting, looking forward to it.
