Done everything right for Auckland, been very consistent this summer. Scored a nice 30 odd against Pakistan at Eden Park to bring us home too. Well deserved for mine

Yeah I kinda feel like that too. We needed a second spinner, think it was pretty obvious it was a deck that was going to turn and be slow - hell, it always is. Maybe in NZ's defence they might've picked a different squad if they knew 3 T20s were going to played in Wellington and Santner pulling out was an unexpectedly bad timed and costly blow

His run in T20 for Auckland has been pretty great. I think there is some truth in your recollection though - while his form this year has been good, I seem to recall he was in quite a slump last year.
