The warmup 3-Day game just got over according to the social media pages, but I can't seem to locate a scorecard. Ended in a draw tho.

Rashid Khan going to miss the first Test with a finger injury, so good opportunity for Zimbabwe to get a win here.

I'm impressed they're doing a two-Test series. Would've thought it'd be zero or (if we were lucky) one. Gun they're doing it.

Two questions :
a) I can't keep up with Zimbabwe these days - are Taylor, Ervine, Jarvis, Moor and Chatara injured/retired/out of favour?
b) what cricket have players from either side played in the past 6 months or so? I'm amazed either team is able to field a team in light of world events (presumably everyone has had to quarantine in UAE for two weeks?)

Afghanistan played limited overs against Ireland here in the UAE and did very well, winning all games except one T20. My guess is most of the players stayed.

Zimbabwe lost pretty heavily to Pakistan but as Prince EWS hints Madhevere was a bright spot.
