Pink ball cricket is cricket's version of having a problem for a solution. It is nothing more than a gimmick. It has shown to be a cropper especially in the subcontinent. So many uncertainties with regard to visibility, ball, pitch and also the dew.

I hope India just put up a stand to not encourage this mockery of test cricket and stop hosting or being part of such tests

We definitely have to look at improving things with the pink SG ball. The ball cannot lose color and shape so soon, the pitches cannot be kept artificially green with soft outfields just for the pink ball and with our cricket season never being in the actual summer, there is always the threat of dew. Have to figure out how to get better at all these aspects for this to be viable for us.

Too many complications here tbh, we don't need pink ball tests in the SC. Just start all the test matches on Friday if you want more people to come and watch.

It’s understandable he’d float in like that on the breeze when his skin is so tissue thin it can’t sustain an appearance in the cold light of an Indian test defeat, but it means when he takes a shot at people who post through good times and bad, the devastating opinions and analysis he hits you with is like being mauled with a wet lettuce leaf.

Don’t be so hard on him, just laugh and move on from the posts like everyone else does. He and they are more to be pitied than despised.
