Am I fair in saying Kohli isn't all that great against spin? Doesn't have a sweep shot which severely limits his scoring ability. He played slog sweep well against Lyon during that famous Adelaide knock but for whatever reason, he has eliminated the stroke in its entirety from repertoire.

Listen I'm Gujarati but 1) this dry state thing is stupid and I'm bitter about it everytime I go back, and 2) the politics are messed up (though probably not worse than any other state).

Dry state is because it is birth place of Mahatma Gandhi who was against alcohol intoxication.
And I am only pointing out to those people who used phrases like it's Gujarat and having a go at state.

I think batting lineups in general are struggling more than 10-15 years ago. Partly it's because a lot of once-in-a-generation batsmen came around the same time. Back then, people were worried about lack of ATG fast bowlers, and now there's some excellent ones going around. It just comes and goes in phases.

It’s nothing to do with being Indian or coaching. Batsman don’t play a lot of First Class Cricket outside the Tests and don’t hone their skills. The England line-up struggle against top class bowling on any pitch that’s does a bit extra whether it’s seam or spin.

Kohli is like SA team of 90s . Looks excellent on paper, has very good record but never delivers in crunch situations.
