Yep just wondering why they didn't go for him instead, of course easier with hindsight but Labuschagne in good form with the ball of late in T20s, a more reliable bat roo for a fraction of the price.

That makes sense imo, ie not going for Labu. Moises a better t20 player overall tbh, don't get fooled by Labu getting wickets bowling filth in BBL.

Whenever I've seen Henriques he has struck me as meh, seeing his recent scores nothing eye catching either, could understand him going at base price but not more. With Maxwell from an RCB perspective capable of bowling spin surely there is more of a case of going for a better overseas bat then Henriques.

Thought Labuschagne as a 6th bowling option.and capable of being a solid option at 3 or 4 would suit CSK as presume they'll have Jadeja at 7, Bravo 8 and 3 other specialist bowlers so only really need someone who can provide backup to Bravo's bowling. Although point taken on wanting offspin.

Moeen is much better player in SC conditions as a batsman and bowler. Labu the bowler is a joke in these conditions and against IPL level batsmen.

What is the point of CSK buying K.Gowtham for 9.25Cr!!
I serioulsy don't see how he is worth that price..
I can't remember when he won some matches single handedly for any team..
Even major contributions..

I'd hope we select Kane Richardson or an overseas pacer we buy later ahead of Zampa as we already have Sundar, Chahal and potentially Maxwell, going for another spinner overseas at that when they are not special I'm unsure about
