So next test we will probably go with

Sibley
Crawley
Bairstow
Root
Stokes
Pope
Foakes
Bess
Leach
Broad/Archer/Wood/Stone
Anderson
Why would Burns miss out, or is it a genuine dropping as opposed to needing a rest as a top order batsman who’s not scoring many runs?

Yep. Have no idea what the day night match will actually be like.

I mean most people had us losing 4-0 anyway.
Yeah I think we all expected a series thrashing. Been a surprise then what I thought would happen so far. No idea what happens in the day night game. Could be a ridiculous game.

I had no idea Rohit could move that fast. Good lord.

Quick single-itis almost claims another victim.

no they have been surprisingly great in match threads

(must be gimh's absence)

its your lot who are stinking this up
I mean the reason we're talking about this at all is because of the universal line taken by English cricket journos. Literally just before I saw this post I also saw that Simon Hughes wants India to be docked WTC points.

It should have been Woakes in the first place but Ed Smith is an idiot mook stupidhead.
Does Smith actually make the decisions about the final XI? I'd have thought Silverwood is the likelier option. And tbf he has enough credit in the bank for me to forgive any occasional duff calls.

I think teams should study Michal Clarke's approach on facing spin, especially on turning tracks. His clever feet movement negated all the benefit that the spin bowlers had, even on tracks that turned square.

It’s an inferior skill.

You’re new here, but I have objectively proven this to be the case over the course of a decade and a half. If you research some old posts of mine you’ll learn a bit as to why it’s the case.

Particularly finger spin. Spin is the only skill in the sport which can be effectively undertaken at a decent level by someone who’s morbidly obese and not necessarily altogether conventionally abled, to put it mildly.

but enough on this. Go do some research and you’ll learn something. Do you good. We should instead be focusing on how crap England has been and how good Sharma, Rahane and Pant were yesterday.
What??? For the **** sake, that was the most idiotic statemenet ever!!!
who the **** are you to decide one skill is inferior to other? Who gave you that right to decide for everybody?
If that is your opinion, keep it with you ffs... It's just laughable at the best..

Every skilll is important and not being able to master a skill is the fault of the player and the team.
This is pretty low attiude to have in life..
Oh I don't know how to learn that skill.. Well that is an "inferior" skill and let me spread some lies it is inferior.
what a load crap ?‍♂

Dropping as they need to get Crawley back in somehow and Bairstow will surely play as he is better against spin than most.

Whatever it takes!!!
Thanks Maestro Leonardo, but the point you aren’t following despite its abject simplicity is a deck which starts as this one did only favours the one skill set. It’s devolves, it doesn’t evolve.
Yes and Ishant and STone were bowling finger spin, sure.

Ignoring the pile of salt in this post, lets concentrate on the lies.

Seamers are always in the game on such tracks due to reverse swing - Its no more unfair on seamer as it is on spinners when they have to depend on overspin more than sidespin to get wickets in SENA. If you dont have the skillsets, just suck it up and accept your inferiority in cricket, and in life.
Lol go away fool. “Seamers are always in the game here” which is why sides pick two at most, if not one and a seamup all rounder. They’re there to get the shine off the ball. That’s it.

Much more whinging from the Australian contingent when it comes to posters though.

In that case anyone involved is stupid.

This tour is such a good chance to see Stokes Foakes and Woakes and I'll literally post scat pornography in Off Topic in protest if we get denied.

They are taking more wickets here than spinners do in SENA usually in the first two days. But sure, continue the lies. And the salt.

Probably worth putting Burgey back on ignore till this tour is over.

We're only in Day 2. Let's bat out all of Day 3 and half of Day 4 before declaring plz. Hopefully break one of the quicks before the D/N test.
