FWIW, I'm not sure why Saifuddin's been written off as a red ball player. Would love to see him picked as a batsman who can bowl a few overs ala the role you're suggesting for Soumya.

He looks a consummate batsman. Completely natural at the crease, reasonable footwork and appears to pick up the ball early.

Like Prince EWS said, play Soumya in the all rounder role, pick one other, give them the new ball, give them a chance. Otherwise they will be stuck in this loop forever.
