right, if it is purely technique, the same should apply to ODI as well, where he has no trouble scoring 100s anywhere actually..One theory is that he's does not trust his technique away from home, which is why he plays so many daft shots when under pressure. Doesn't back himself to ride out a testing spell of bowling or to rotate the strike risk free.
Reckon it's really mental for him more than technique. He's enroute to being the GOAT ODI opener, possibly usurping Sachin. He's got game.
That's not true at all. Different techniques are applicable to different degrees in different formats. Guptill and Finch's issues were Tests were much more technical than mental, for example.right, if it is purely technique, the same should apply to ODI as well

Nah, massive difference with fielding restrictions and bowlers having limited overs to bowl.right, if it is purely technique, the same should apply to ODI as well, where he has no trouble scoring 100s anywhere actually..
with good technique for back foot play and pull shots it should have been easier for him abroad than home..
IMHO It is just a mental thing mostly or fate whatever you call it, he should have achieved comparable to the game's greats.. instead he is fighting for his spot in the team, if not for this innigs, he could have been dropped very well in the next match..
Na that is WarnerATGHTB.
Pfft, Warner only averages 63 at home, and on the flattest pitches in the world too. Rookie numbers.Na that is Warner
Stick a fork in this one. We are done.
Well played Rohit.
Yeah, just the ease with which he plays his shots (and he has all the shots in the book) and he can play pace and spin well, and he has indeed performed well against all teams and all venues all over the world in both ODIs and T20s. So if there was any technical flaw, it would have been found and exploted by far.. He has been playing in international circult for a long time now..Like I can't recall the last time I've watched Rohit get out and think "oh right, that's a technical flaw he needs to work on, otherwise he's going to keep getting exposed'
It's always him looking a million bucks before he does something daft. If he just stopped doing daft things we might actually find out if he has a technical flaw, or maybe he'll score buckets of runs and only get out to great balls. Kinda like a Pujara that has more scoring options.
Has looked very good today so far. Hope he gets a triple ton and we crush England here.

Not saying he is perfect, but not seeing any big technical flaws that would prevent him from scoring test tons overseas..
just needs to play 150 tests and he'll be labelled an atgNohit is a home track bully
