I mean it’s still very very flat, a couple have gone through the surface but I don’t think there is much there for the bowlers . It’s just going to absolutely crumble by day 4It's not ideal but better than the last test imo. At least the bowlers are in it from Day 1.
will be funny if we don't score enough in this pitch and let eng into the gameI mean it’s still very very flat, a couple have gone through the surface but I don’t think there is much there for the bowlers . It’s just going to absolutely crumble by day 4
Dropped for not having a goSo Archer was not bowling express in the second innings because he was injured and not because he cbf?
Looks a bit two paced to me with a hint of turn for the spinners. Not terribly flat imo. It'll probably reverse soon too because of how dry/abrasive it is.I mean it’s still very very flat, a couple have gone through the surface but I don’t think there is much there for the bowlers . I think there needs to be some acceptance of the fact Gill isn’t very good when the ball moves.Just knew that Stone will pick up wickets!! (new bowlers always do against India) Hence wanted Woakes to play instead.
There won't be day 5 and may only be short day 4.I mean not really, day 4/5 will be a nightmare to bat on
At least if you lose the toss, you are still in the game! It's not ideal but better than the last test imo. At least the bowlers are in it from Day 1.
How can that really be the case if it’s started to crumble before lunch on day one though? At least if you lose the toss, you are still in the game!
TBF it’s hard to say Agarwal or Shaw would do any better. Vihari I’m not sure is up to it either:I don’t know what’s worse for India: Rohit scoring runs or Rohit not scoring runs. Unfortunately, I think it’s the former - if he scores runs and buys himself a ticket to England, it is going to be a disaster.
