Didn't watch much of this test match yesterday, any chance of South Africa doing what WI did to Bangladesh? Is the pitch unplayable yet? Hoping to watch today and hopefully a close finish.
I think there's a very good chance. This pitch has been getting flatter.

Markram looking real good. Played pace and spin equally good. Looks like South Africa is going for it. At least looking at the highlights it feels like it. If FAF plays to his potential this could go down to the wire.

Faf really has fallen off a cliff as a batsman hasn't he? Just seems a shadow of the player from a few years back.

180 more now with 7 wickets in hand. I think the game is starting to tilt s bit now. Maybe 70% Pak and 30 South Africa. If a wicket doesn't go in the next 30-40 runs then it'll be 70% South Africa. I'm with the under dogs in this game too. Go South Africa.

South Africa are currently slight favs on betfair.

Obviously anything can happen etc, but this is a very average Pakistan bowling line up so yeah something needs to happen soon for Pakistan or Saffers going to coast home.

Bavuma is looking so good. Very compact batsman. Really surprised he only has one hundred so far. Maybe the decks in South Africa must be hard to bat on. He's equally good work defence and attack.

How about the rest of the guys after Quinton? Can they bat all right? Can they chip in with 20s or 30s?

There's still plenty in the pitch for spinners. One of two wickets it's going to be hard for South Africa.

Yep.

Nortje the number 11 isn't very good but not as incompetent as many of the other number 11's . He'd probably bat at number 9 for India!

Faf was a good player in an excellent team. He was never more than a 40+ avg player, with some really good knocks inbetween. To have expected him to step up and take the place of the 50 avg players, particularly late in career was foolish of SA.
