Mr. Glass
i think if we are forced to follow on in the second session tomorrow, our top order will bat better in the second dig after a bit of rest

if the pitch doesn't become a typical day 4/5 surface that is

no way England makes us follow-on

I think the project of improving Pant's keeping against spin at home is a very long term one. Not expecting much improvement this series.
That's the price you buy him at, though. It isn't like those limitations are unknown, and his batting has been awesome of late. Maybe he replaces one of Kohli or Rahane as a batsman, whichever is dropped first after this series, and you bring in AN Other to keep.

Of course but they won’t seriously consider playing him as a specialist bat unless he drops a lot of catches and scores a healthy amount of runs.

Burgeys so scarred he's gone from cheering for Aus to win to cheering for India to lose

We're 90s Australia now.
Have happily cheered India to lose every series since 2008 Victim Complexgate tbf. This is not a new phenomenon.

Where's Senile Sentry, btw? Odd he's not around with India 4/****all chasing nearly 600. he's usually so steadfast.

Love the way Pant just takes them on regardless of how **** his team's position is. Will be a shame when he has 5 more years in him and the terrors overtake him like they do everyone.

Shoo, off to the bbl thread. Back to discussing the latest new sub par Australian batsman to score the most bash boost points for you.

BBL done and dusted. The Mighty Sixers go back to back babeh.

Tim David MIA when it matters most, much like your posts and your face.

Don't be telling me what cricket to watch and what not to ffs. if I want to watch this, I will.

Jack Leach can hopefully do a post-match impersonation for his team mates of his sunburnt palete after taking 0/260 bowling to Pant in a winning side. Knob end he is.
