To be fair, if you can count on one thing from England, it is that they will be prepared for any away tour with the gazillion roles they have around the team. I just think it was a combination of an extremely important toss that we lost, again (**** knows we win only like 20% of tosses in our games, I think) and our main 3 bowlers feeling their way back into test cricket after injuries and our openers having one of those days (at least Gill, Rohit's dismissal was a good ball).

EDIT: Mean to say I basically expect England to come in fully prepped for any away series and I will be disappointed if the Indian management did not think that way too. Ashwin, in one of his YouTube interviews of the coaching staff, actually made that point and the coach agreed with him, think it was B Arun.
My impression was that England traditionally don't prep very well for away series and usually get thrashed in the 1st test.

I think all these problems for India are because Kohli is captain again...

(PS. I have no problems idea if this is true as I have barely watched a ball!)!
