Still not all that hopeful about a win but happy with the competitiveness being shown on the whole. 1 session with the ball aside the players have given Bangladesh a significant challenge in their own conditions.

Man a couple of LBWs not given that would have been out on review, a dropped catch...BD letting the game slip like we used to.

Towards the end of this session you can tell that Athar Ali Khan was frustrated...he kept on bringing up the non reviews...and the camera was on Liton for quite some time lol...and in the final over before lunch, after seeing the ball tracking that it was clipping the bails Athar mentioned something about the bounce of the Nayeem delivery to Bonner(It’s what I heard in the background)

Obviously stay up. You I'll be waking up for work your whole life. Watching WI pull off a remarkable Test win very rarely happens.

Mayers has had such an interesting career trajectory the more I think about it. Starred in U19s wayyyyyyy back, had a few t20s iirc but didn't crack into the Barbados FC side. Moved to the Windward Islands, did fairly well but was almost more of a bowling allrounder, moved back to Barbados and started tearing it up with the bat, picked up an injury about that time and didn't bowl a ball for almost a full season. Mayers himself has said he always considered his batting to be his main strength, but he wasn't used like that until probably only 18-24 months ago

He lit up The PCL last year, then had some crazy knocks in the CPL.

Guess the one benefit Bangladesh have is control over bowling pace, 42 overs could be a few more if Bangladesh want it to be but also if they are struggling they'll make.absolutely certain that its 42 overs bowled and no more as the day goes on
