But why does it look like there is a lot of bounce in this thing on an Asian pitch being described as flat that is showing some serious cracks?

Batsman and senior player. There is no way he should be ahead of markram as a slipper.

Game and the series will probably come down to the lower order runs Pak managed to put together. South Africa’s tail have done nothing this series and Bavuma, who was in the 30s when Mulder got out yesterday, ends up adding no runs when batting with 8, 9, 10 and 11 and exposing them from ball 1. If Rizwan is there at the end today he won’t be on 37.
