*Official* West Indies in Bangladesh 2021

Watched most of the Windies innings, generally batted well but they will still lose this game heavily. 400 was far too many to concede. Wicket is turning big. Mustafizur was bowling leg breaks at 120kph which were turning miles.

Some good knocks from west indies but if you are going to let the opposition no 8 score a 100 then one of your own bats really need ton up too

Yep Bangladesh's tail and our dropped catches sealed our fate. I think it is also a very bad wicket to lose the toss on. The pitch is flat and then starts turning big on day 3, I've seen it here before.

I don't think it matters though tbh, we just don't have the quality batting to put up large scores. We rely on bowling the opposition out for 200 and then a few cameos to win tests.

My brain won't rest. So just thinking. The difference in this test in one stat.

Bangladesh 256/6 - final total 430 all out
West Indies 250/5 - final total 259 all out

Unforgivable slogs from Roach, Warrican and Cornwall. That and losing the toss is literally the difference in this match. I expected to lose with our batting in the state it is and new names in the lineup but for some players who are in the full strength XI to bat like that when Kraigg, Blackwood and Da Silva had battled so hard is very disappointing.

I do think Phil Simmons is supposed to be sorting things like fielding and tail end batting out? It clearly hasn't worked on the last 2 tours.

Blackwood has always had plenty of shots, the big improvement is being far more judicious with when to play them

Like seeing that. Just as long as they never let him "bowl"

Good ton by Mominul.

It's time to declare now really. They're not going to chase the runs down but the danger, however slight, is that they might bat out four sessions. With the slow turn on this pitch, it's not hard to stay in.
